well, this New Years Eve's DUI arrests were up by 9%. I honestly did not think it would be up, so many of my friends, clients and acquaintances are calling cabs, going in on limos having designated drivers. The laws are so tough in the long run on a DUI, your classes and court may be finished... but remember, it stays on your record for TEN YEARS. HARSH!

I always check the crime stats. I check them for specific neighborhoods just out of curiosity. Murder is apparently still going strong as a crime in greater Los Angeles area. I don't suggest living in fear, but its good to check your area for crimes and registered sex offenders and home robberies. Always be aware and safe. If you have any questions, call me or email me! Just don't call at 4:30 am to see if I can find out if you have a warrant.... that goofy.

This has been going through my head all day. Its so true, think about some of the things that have happen to you, or experiences you may have had.

This weekend the LAPD & SHERIFF'S DEPT are conducting a sweep on a "zero tolerance" policy on drunk driving.
I always say "you would be better of getting busted with 2oz of cocaine than a DUI"... be safe and remember a DUI has no Bail, so don't wake my ass up. Relax and get spit out in the morning....

Sometimes, its not that bad.... I had a client get sentenced to 75 days in Los Angeles County Jail, something he had avoided for 2 years. He got caught on his warrant, got sentenced to the same 75 days. GOT OUT IN THREE DAYS. YES , HE GOT OUT IN 3 Days!!!!!

Why??? because they HAVE to. They rely on them for all friends and social interaction. They make themselves needed. I have the data to run addresses, to track vehicles, to run phone numbers, criminal history etc. Don't ever let a loser get the best of you.

Los Angeles County Jail

L.A. County Jail is notorious for human error. The time it takes just to get processed in seems like days gone by. Then you can count on being lost and or forgotten. The time frame for getting processed in and Bailed out of county Jail is around 24 disgusting hours. It feels like you are lost and forgotten, but I HAVE NOT forgot you. it just takes a while... we're dealing with JAIL.
