After you are arrested, you are then booked. This process in itself may take a few hours...After you are booked your fingerprints are ran threw the Dept of Justice to check for outstanding warrants. This usually takes between 4 to 6 hours. Also keep in mind this is JAIL. Nobody is in a rush or trying to do you any favors here. If your an asshole and bitch and complain and cry like a little punk to the cops, most likely your file is going right to the bottom of the stack.
I stay on it, I know it feels like you've been forgotten. I have been there myself, a few times. I have not forgotten you, I sometimes have to stay up and call the jail every hour on the hour. I got your back.
