BOND GIRL RAQUEL

It is the law that if your arrested on a Misdomeanor, you go to court on the next available day. For example if you were arrested on a Monday, on a Misdomeanor , you'd go to court on Tuesday. This is the law for both male & female.
The women's county jail is called Lynwood, it happens to be on the same property as Century Sheriffs station.
The inequality that women are receiving at Century Sheriffs is incredible.
At any local city jail, any person arrested has the opportunity for bail within hours of being cleared thru fingerprinting for outstanding warrants.
At Century Sheriffs station, once your booked in, they then immediately take the females to Lynwood County jail. I'm assuming this is because officially Century Station doesn't house females.
What this does is create a complete second "processing" into a county facility which takes 12-24 hours at this particular facility. Now, if it takes that long to process in, & by law you are to be seen before a judge the next available day.... This completely illiminates  any opportunity for bail.
So a male can be arrested on the same charge and be out on bail within 6 hours, but a female arrested on the very same charge at the very same time on the very same day will be guaranteed an overnight stay in jail.
This is so atrocious to me. I'm going to have to make some noise over this. The system is so flawed.
