HOLIDAY ARRESTS

As always the number one arrest made on holiday weekends is driving under the influence. 23152 of the vehicle code. There was reports of 323 arrested and some statistics stated even higher. So give or take a few we can be safe to assume it was at least 350 arrests. I reminded everyone on all of my social media's to not drink & drive. I also stated that a DUI is the worst Misdomeanor ever. No bail is needed unless injury is involved. 

Be careful for schlocky attorneys making false promises. 

Standard Dui consiquences are 3 months suspended drivers license, higher insurance rates with a mandatory SR22 (easily issued by your auto insurance) a court approved drug class, AA meetings, fees & fines. The cherry on top is it stays on your record for 10 years and you also get 3 years summary probation. If you blew over .08 you're out of luck. You're drinking and driving days are over. Big crimes come with big bail. High number bail is not something that happens quickly. It's way more complicated. Collateral is mandatory. The amount if collateral must match the amount of the bail.
