BAIL BONDS & LOS ANGELES

The year has started with a bang! At the end of 2015 I had four projects already in the works for 2016. Everything has been going smoothly with those projects so far. People ask me all the time, what advice would I give to somebody starting a business? I would say the most important thing is to answer your phone and return phone calls! The second next most important thing or at least one of the most important things is to never be discouraged! You win some and you lose some and that is a fact!
I want to thank some of the people that make everything possible for me and my business. Wackoe Films, Belle Estanni Sweets & Cakes, K&J Printers, Kym CBS CREW, Below Poverty Level, Red Rose Mafia!
My photo shoots, my videos, my original art for my flyers, my promotional cookies, my stickers, my T-shirts, my cards, banners, the beautiful models....all of this is done & created by the talent of other business owners. Surround yourself with talented people that can meet a deadline, that can communicate well, and that mean what they say, and say what they mean!

QUEEN OF BAIL at EL COMPADRES DTLA

Saturday was the Kemo the Blaxican Show. This is something I had been looking forward to for over a year. Kemo has been on tour and this was his first Los Angeles show in a while. I knew it was going to be a great show not only because Kemo was performing but also Breezewood La Connecta was on the bill and many of the Dead Silence Label acts. Place was packed, a lot of us know each other, it was good times, a cool venue and just great energy. Many of us support each other in Los Angeles and when we all get together it's undeniably strong.
Breezewood La Connecta & I have worked together before at Mexica a few years back. I was excited to see them perform! BLC created excitement in the air and anticipation. They had two hot  girls come onstage like ring girls getting the crowd all riled up! They have a mystique about them, a completely original style! Their hip-hop is in both English and Spanish. They ended their show with gifts for their fans. RQOB's Dont get caught slippin T-shirts, stickers, music.. they had all kinds of stuff they were throwing out to the audience.
Next up was the headliner Kemo the Blaxican. When he comes out, he commands that entire room. It's amazing, and also seems effortless. If you ever get the chance to see Kemo the Blaxican, do not pass it up! Everybody had a great time, it was a great night. Keep your eyes peeled for shows put on by Rek 1 & Battle Rabbit promoters, sponsored by these businesses, and performers like this. In Los Angeles good music still exists. They play, but you have to know about it. It's the real deal, some underground Los Angeles hip-hop!

BOND GIRL RAQUEL

Throughout my years in business I've had three stickers.. My last sticker has been the most popular by far. I have to thank Below Poverty Level for designing my latest sticker. BPLA has a huge skater following. Skaters get in trouble like everybody else. This Friday night I will be at the Chocolate skate boards event called 20 Years of Chocolate. I'll be giving away my RQOB sticker for everyone's sticker obsession. Meet me there! Say hi & get your RQOB sticker.

RAQUEL QUEEN OF BAIL

It was a good week so far! If you are friends with me on any of my social media's, you would know I've been on a serious sticker campaign.  RQOB has many different advertising phases. It all depends on what I've come out with at that time.
RQOB did a sticker collaboration with BPLA aka Below Poverty Level sticker brand. They are the number one sticker brand in Los Angeles. The sticker has been well received.
This week I stocked 11 shops with my stickers. They are in shops from Hollywood, to North Hollywood, & from Burbank to Tarzana.
I had a great time visiting with people and artists that I know.
Yes I get rejected every once & a while, but that's ok.
Last night I thought to myself, how cool everybody was to me & how supportive we are of each others businesses.
Almost every shop had a Tshirt for me, or a gift of some sort. I felt super blessed & very grateful.
I hope you support these shops & stop by & spread even more support. Tell them I sent you!

QUEEN OF BAIL

RQOB is a one woman show. There is no street team, there is no marketing firm. It's just me! I have flyers, tshirts, cards, posters, & stickers. I'm always on a mission to keep my advertising on the streets & in the air. Believe me it's a mission. There is no doubt I hit the streets. I have to. Sometimes it's great & I get to see my friends at shops like Basement 818 or Back Side Records, or Mikes Smoke shop where I'm always welcome.. But there is plenty of rejection.  Bail Bonds can make people act weird. Some people take everything personal & assume I'm judging them as a criminal. Some people think it has a scary connotation. I can't be thin skinned.. You know, touchy. I have to shake it off and keep moving. It's not easy going into a store & being told NO. I just smile & go on to the next spot. I try to generate a good relationship with stores & cross promote. I am only giving away cool items! Who doesn't want a free poster or Tshirt or sticker?
I have a new sticker that is a collab by Below Poverty Level the only sticker company that's on top of the game!

You can find them at:
Back Side Records- Burbank
Second Spin Records- Sherman Oaks
Basement 818- Sherman Oaks
Y- Que Store- on Vermont Los Feliz
Wackoe Store- Hollywood Blvd near Hillhust
Mikes Smoke Shop- Sherman Oaks

As always Thank you for supporting. I will post more locations as I fill them. More to come! Tell them I sent you!!

RAQUEL QUEEN OF BAIL

RQOB is on a mission to take over Los Angeles, & it's not easy. It's a lot of work, but boy is it fun. Yesterday we had casting interviews & sound bites for my latest project. We had RQOB custom cupcakes and cookies... The perfect occasion. The Cherokee building is so beautiful, there were many options for filming. After a full day we all went over to Musso & Frank for some cocktails.
One of my vendors a company called "Below Poverty Level" had a launch party in Korea Town, so that was our next stop. A gang of my friends from DMS were outside smoking cigarettes, great to see them!
Well I only had two seconds to stay there I had a bond call at twin towers & luckily I was very close to downtown. Met with my clients & got someone out of jail. That really topped the whole day!
What a great day.. I have so many people to thank, & I'll be sure to do that today.
